Help Them Find The Story
Part of The PARIS Method — for coaches
Most people tell their story flatly the first time. "We launched in Taiwan. It was a tight timeline, but we made it work." True, but thin — no real Problem, no Risk, no Insight. A coach's job is not to accept that version. It's to notice what's missing, and ask.
Think of Mei, the product manager whose flat four-sentence answer turned out to be hiding a much bigger story — a launch that was really a test case for an entire region, and an insight about what "localization" actually meant that she hadn't put into words yet. Her coach never told her any of this. The coach just kept asking. [Read the full story →]
What you'll get
Practice the discovery conversation itself. You'll play the coach; the AI plays the client, offering a flat, undersold account of something they did — the way real clients often do. Your job is to ask the questions that draw out the real Problem, the real Action, and the Insight they haven't found yet.
At the end, you'll get a short reflection on the conversation: which questions opened things up, and which letter of PARIS you might have moved past too quickly.

How it works
This is one application of the PARIS Method — Problem, Action, Result, Insights, Skills. The signal worth watching for: whichever element the client rushes past fastest is usually the one worth slowing down on.
Your privacy
Your conversation is processed securely and isn't stored, reviewed, or shared. Nothing you share here is visible to anyone else.
Your language
Write in whichever language feels most natural — English, Chinese, German, Spanish, or another. The AI understands you.
Want more practice?
