Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you typically work with?
I work with professionals, managers and leaders who want to take the next step in their careers with greater clarity and confidence. Some are preparing for a promotion, others are navigating a career transition, while many are looking to become more effective leaders or communicators. My clients come from a wide range of industries and countries, but they all have one thing in common: they want to grow intentionally rather than leave their careers to chance.
How does coaching work?
Coaching isn't about giving you all the answers—it's about helping you discover the right ones for yourself.
Each session is a conversation focused on your goals, challenges and opportunities. I'll ask questions that help you think differently, challenge assumptions when needed, and provide practical tools and frameworks you can immediately apply. Between sessions, many clients put new ideas into practice, so each conversation builds on real progress.
How do I know which program is right for me?
You don't have to decide that on your own.
Our initial conversation is designed to understand where you are today, what you'd like to achieve, and what support would be most valuable. Sometimes that's a focused coaching session. Sometimes it's a longer coaching journey. If I don't believe I'm the right person to help, I'll tell you honestly and, whenever possible, point you in the right direction.
What happens during the initial call?
The first conversation is simply an opportunity for us to get to know each other.
I'll learn about your goals, challenges and where you'd like to go, while you can ask any questions you have about my coaching approach. If we both feel we're a good fit, we'll discuss the most suitable next steps. If not, that's perfectly fine too—there's no obligation.
Can you help with CVs, LinkedIn profiles and interview preparation?
Absolutely—but a CV is rarely the real challenge.
Most people struggle because they're trying to describe their experience before they've clearly defined the value they bring. Once that becomes clear, writing a strong CV, building an effective LinkedIn profile and preparing compelling interview stories becomes much easier.
What is the difference between career development and career transition coaching?
Career development focuses on helping you grow where you are—or prepare for what's next. This could include leadership development, communication, greater visibility, or preparing for a promotion.
Is strategic communication the same as English training?
Not quite.
While strong English certainly helps, effective communication is about much more than language. It's about thinking clearly, understanding your audience, structuring your message, and communicating with confidence. Whether you're presenting to senior leaders, leading meetings or interviewing for your next role, the focus is on creating impact—not simply using better English.
Do you work with clients outside Taiwan?
Yes.
I work with clients around the world through online coaching, making it easy to connect regardless of location. Having lived and worked internationally for more than two decades, I also understand many of the challenges professionals face when working across cultures and global teams.
Do you offer both online and in-person sessions?
Yes.
Most coaching sessions are delivered online, allowing me to work with clients around the world in a flexible and convenient way. Online coaching has proven to be highly effective and offers the added benefit of fitting more easily into busy professional schedules.
For organizations in Taiwan, I also offer in-person coaching, workshops and leadership development programs. If you're located elsewhere, feel free to get in touch—we'll explore what works best for your team and objectives.
How much does coaching cost?
Coaching is an investment in your professional growth, so the right solution depends on your goals.
For individual clients, pricing is clearly outlined in the downloadable Program Overview for each coaching program, making it easy to explore your options before we speak.
If you're unsure which program is the best fit, don't worry—we'll discuss your goals during our initial conversation and decide together what level of support will create the greatest value for you. There is never any pressure or obligation to continue.
For Organizations
Can your coaching and leadership programs be customized for our organization?
Yes.
Every organization has its own culture, priorities and leadership challenges. Rather than delivering a standard program, I work with you to understand your objectives and design coaching or workshops that align with your business, your people and the outcomes you want to achieve.
How do you measure the success of a coaching engagement?
Success looks different for every client and every organization.
For individual coaching, this may include greater confidence, stronger leadership, more effective communication, successful career progression, or achieving specific personal goals.
For executive coaching, I believe success should be visible not only to the coachee, but also to the people they work with. That's why the Triple Win Coaching approach incorporates feedback from key stakeholders and team members, ensuring that growth translates into meaningful, observable change within the organization.
Do you offer workshops as well as longer-term programs?
Yes.
I offer both interactive workshops and longer-term coaching programs for organizations.
My workshops are designed to be practical, engaging and highly participative. Rather than delivering a traditional keynote presentation, I prefer creating conversations that encourage reflection, discussion and real-world application. Lasting change rarely comes from simply listening—it comes from thinking, discussing, practicing and experiencing new perspectives together.
Depending on your objectives, we can design a one-off workshop or a longer development journey that supports sustained growth over time.
